St. Paul's All Soles walking for Autism Speaks

Missional Living

Without question, recognizing those in need and serving our neighbor (Luke 10:25-37) are part of our ‘Baptismal DNA’ here at St. Paul’s.  Jesus says, “Go and do likewise,” and we do, volunteering through programs like Family Promise (Interfaith Hospitality Network), Interfaith Food Panty and North Porch.  We support the Morris County Youth Shelter with Christmas gifts and holiday dinners.  We “Walk Now” for Autism Speaks, to end the isolation and shame associated with disability.  We bring a “joyful noise” to the Passaic County Prison, and collect calendars for sailors through Seamen’s Church Institute.  In all of it, we hear Jesus speak, “I am among you, as one who serves.”  (Luke 22:27)

Family Promise

The Interfaith Hospitality Network brings the faith community together to help families regain their housing, their independence, and their dignity.  IHN is a partnership of congregations within a community helping families who are facing homelessness.  It offers an opportunity for volunteers of all faiths to reduce homelessness and transform lives. http://www.familypromise.org/program/interfaith-hospitality-network

Interfaith Food Pantry

The Mission of the Interfaith Food Pantry is threefold: to improve the health and well being of Morris County residents in need by providing access to food, nutrition education and related resources, to provide hands-on opportunities for neighbors to help neighbors and to educate the public about the issues of hunger in our area. http://www.mcifp.org/

North Porch

The North Porch Women & Infants' Centers provide emergency seven-day supplies of formula, baby food, diapers, clothing, bed linens and other items for needy mothers and their infants in the Newark, Paterson, Dover, Hackettstown and Wharton areas of northern New Jersey. North Porch began as a project of the Episcopal Church Women in the Diocese of Newark, and serves women of all faiths. http://www.northporch.org/
