March 26th 6:30pm Supper/7pm “Learning to Skateboard in a Warzone (If You’re A Girl)” (40 min) In the war-torn city of Kabul, a class of young girls from disadvantaged neighborhoods learn to read, write – and skateboard – in director Carol Dysinger’s love letter to a place she has filmed for the last fifteen years. Watch them gain courage and life skills that will transcend skateboarding and the classroom to help them thrive and adapt to the challenges that lie ahead.
