Summer Worship - Travel the Anglican World

By:
Rev. Mary E. Davis

From time to time, it is important to reflect on the fact that we are not just a church on Main Street in Chatham, but connected with the global community as Children of God. And as Episcopalians, we are members of the worldwide Anglican Communion, a global family of over 80 million people.

This summer, during our worship services at both 8am and 10am, we will “travel” the world of Anglian worship, with Sunday stops in places like Scotland, New Zealand, England, Kenya and the Philippines. We all share the same foundational prayers, based on our Book of Common Prayer, but you’ll note that each country’s worship and language have been culturally adapted. Join us every Sunday this summer as we worship together as the St. Paul’s community, while also praying alongside our sisters and brothers around the world.
