David P. Hegg II Awards & Evensong

Rosemary Wright, this year's Hegg Lifetime Achievement honoree
On Sunday, June 10, Bishop Beckwith will present the David P. Hegg II Lifetime Achievement Awards during the 22nd Annual Senior Ministries Evensong at 4pm at St. Peter’s Church in Morristown. This year, we are honored to celebrate Rosemary Wright, and the depth and breadth of her contributions to both St. Paul’s and the life of the Diocese of Newark.
Since joining St. Paul’s (Chatham) in 1990, Rosemary has served on every imaginable committee, council and commission, most especially using her skills as an educator to facilitate and mentor adult education opportunities. She enthusiastically brought Education for Ministry (EfM) to St. Paul’s, and for the past 9 years has lead one or more groups through the study of Christian history, tradition, Bible and theology.
Rosemary has shared her gifts and wisdom with the Diocese as well by serving on the Task Force to study “Open Table,” the Namaste committee on anti-racism, Newark Shared Ministries, and as a delegate to many Diocesan Conventions.

Join us in thanking Rosemary for her dedicated years of service and recognizing her as this year’s Hegg Lifetime Achievement honoree!
