The Rector and Vestry are happy to announce that Charlie Foster is our recipient of the Diocese's David P. Hegg II Lifetime Achievement Award. For decades, Charlie has faithfully and selflessly offered his pastoral gifts as a Lay Eucharistic Minister, worship leader, teacher and friend. He has also contributed invaluable legal counsel and administrative support of the church's "Memorial Close" ministry. Because Charlie is made in the image of God, it is clear to those who know him that God must have a wonderful sense of humor - a true gift and blessing that Charlie brings to the people of St. Paul’s and the community he serves!
Charlie will be honored, along with other Diocesan nominees, on Sunday, June 9, 2013 during a 4pm Evensong service at Christ Church, East Orange.
